Art Beat Launch
An exciting new platform for the arts in Canterbury!
Yesterday (2nd October, 2018), we celebrated Warren Feeney’s successful launch of Art Beat; Ōtautahi Christchurch and Canterbury’s first visual arts newspaper.
Art Beat is a monthly arts newspaper and website featuring news, reviews, commentary and a comprehensive listing of events, workshops and exhibitions in Canterbury.
Art Beat is committed to profiling all aspects of the visual arts with 12,000 copies each month. The vast majority of the copies are now in gallery spaces throughout Canterbury and in cafes, libraries, the Arts Centre of Christchurch, as well as; lawyers and accountants offices in the central city, and many more locations.
The next issue is due 1 November.
