Bill Hammond now on the wall in Lyttelton
You can now see the world’s largest Bill Hammond reproduction emblazoned across the wall of the Lyttelton Arts Factory, a not-for-profit arts organisation specialising in theatrical performance and education.
Traffic Cop Bay – a 2003 seascape of birds, islands and trees – is now writ huge and overlooks the harbour in Bill’s home town.
Go see it! LAF is on the corner of Sumner Road and Oxford Street, Lyttelton 8082.
This project was instigated while Bill was still with us and has come together due to the combined efforts of Jane McBride, The LAF Trust, Lyttelton Primary School and Te Papa Tongarewa.
