versenight3doc-sqDoc Drumheller was born in Charleston, South Carolina and has lived in New Zealand for more than half his life. He has worked in award winning groups for theatre and music and has published ten collections of poetry. His poems have been translated into more than twenty languages, and he has performed in Cuba, Lithuania, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Japan, Indian, Nicaragua, USA and widely throughout NZ. He lives in Oxford, where he edits and publishes the literary journal Catalyst.

versenight3marisa-sqMarisa Cappetta graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Hagley Writers’ Institute in 2011. Her poetry has been published in Landfall, Takahe, Snorkel, Turbine, Black Mail Press, Interlit Q, Shot Glass Journal, The Press and several national and international anthologies. In 2013 she received a mentorship from the New Zealand Society of Authors. Her book ‘How to Tour the World on a Flying Fox’, published by Steele Roberts will be launched in 2016.

versenight3kate-sqKate Taylor is the vocal programme leader at Ara Music Arts in Christchurch. Kate recently worked on the 25th anniversary gala concert, late night Jazz  slam and her very own Stevie Wonder tribute show at the 2016 Cavell Leitch International Jazz and Blues festival. Kate released her debut CD ‘Kate Taylor live’ with Orange Studios in 2013 and is currently working on her next album ‘The 12 pianist project’  due out in 2017.
