Video – Farid Ahmed’s talk 4.3.21
Farid Ahmed, Christchurch mosque attacks survivor and now semifinalist New Zealander of the year became a global symbol of peace and forgiveness after he lost his wife Husna in the 2019 March attacks. On Thursday 4 March, we were honoured as Farid Ahmed joined us at the gallery to discuss his philosophy of forgiveness, peace and love, and how it is an example of how faith and humanity can be tools for navigating even the most horrific of tragedies.
